We Help With Brake Restoration

Is your vehicle experiencing brake wear? If you notice high pitched squealing, vibration in the steering wheel or a grinding noise when applying brakes, it could be time to visit us!

Did you know, Brake pads and Brake Shoes should be replaced every 60,000km to 80,000 km, but that number can differ depending on driving conditions and styles. The good news is, you will likely experience minor symptoms when your brake pads are getting towards their end of life, making diagnosis and repairs easy.

On replacement of brake pads or brake shoes First Choice offers same day disc or drum machining bringing your existing rotors or drums back into like new condition (if serviceable), or provide brand new ones to get you back on the road as soon as possible. Restoring or servicing a vehicle with drum brakes? Did you know First Choice Automotive Parts can supply a new set of brake shoes or re-bond yours on site.

Brake hoses have an average life span of 6 years and they can deteriorate from both inside and out. In general, brake hoses on a vehicle deteriorate at the same rate, so it’s advisable that all hoses be replaced if one is found to have deteriorated or is faulty, First Choice Automotive manufacture these on site, often while you wait.
